Downhill Glacier Biking in Iceland
When walking around the Sólheimajökull glacier in Iceland, I’ve sometimes had the crazy thought: “Is it possible to bike around this glacier?” Of course I always thought it was a bit crazy and never ended up doing it. Well, some of my co-guides at Icelandic Mountain Guides had the same idea and unlike me, acted upon it. They took their mountain bikes and cruised around and down the Sólheimajökull glacier.
Although this is not one of their scheduled tours, they just began offering some interesting bike tours. They’ve made some cool videos for them that I’ll post soon.
